Terms of Use

Terms for Enalla: what the free app includes, what Enalla Full unlocks for $4.99 once, how Apple handles purchases and refunds, and how to use the app.

Last updated 12 October 2026

Part A: Buying Enalla

1. The publisher

Enalla is published by STH Labs, the trading name of Stavros Thalassinos, sole proprietor, Greece (VAT/ΑΦΜ EL160320426), Thesi Alonaki, Prodromos, 84400 Paros, Greece. Enalla is distributed only through the Mac App Store, where Apple acts as our agent and is the merchant of record for the download and the in app purchase.

2. What is free and what is paid

Free. The download includes the complete pomodoro timer (focus, short and long breaks, rounds, auto start), idle pause, gentle escalation, sounds, time in the menu bar, launch at login, and one health nudge of your choice (posture, water, eyes or stretch) with an adjustable interval.

Enalla Full. A single non consumable in app purchase at $4.99 (or the equivalent in your storefront's currency, shown by Apple before you confirm) that turns on all four nudges at the same time. It is paid once, is not a subscription, and includes every 1.x update of Enalla. In the EU and most other countries the price Apple shows includes tax; in the United States and Canada tax may be added at checkout.

3. Apple's terms apply

Your download and your purchase are governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), which applies to Enalla unless we give Apple a custom licence agreement for your region. Part B below sets out additional terms from us about the app. It applies alongside Apple's EULA, and if the two conflict, Apple's EULA prevails.

4. Refunds

Because Apple is the seller, Apple handles every refund. To request one, sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple Account you bought with, choose "I'd like to", then "Request a refund", pick a reason and the purchase, and submit. Apple explains the process at support.apple.com/118223. Apple decides on the request under its own terms and pays any refund to your original payment method. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, but if something is wrong with the app, email us and we will help you fix it.

Cancelling within 14 days (EU). Apple's Media Services Terms for EU countries let you cancel an order within 14 days from when you received your receipt, without giving a reason, through Purchase History in your Apple Account or by sending Apple a clear statement. Under those terms the right does not apply once delivery of the content has started at your request. Apple handles every cancellation; check its terms for your country for the exact conditions.

5. Restoring a purchase

Enalla Full is tied to your Apple Account. On another Mac, or after reinstalling, open Settings in Enalla and press Restore Purchases in the Free edition section while signed in to the same Apple Account.

6. Consumer rights unaffected

Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer under Greek and EU law, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content (Directive (EU) 2019/770) and your rights under Greek Law 2251/1994.

Part B: Using Enalla

This Part is a legal agreement between you and Stavros Thalassinos about your use of Enalla. By installing or using Enalla you agree to it.

7. Licence

Subject to these Terms and Apple's EULA, we grant you a non exclusive, non transferable licence to use Enalla on any Apple branded Mac that you own or control, for your personal or internal business use, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms.

8. Restrictions

You may not:

  • resell, rent, lease or redistribute Enalla except as Apple's terms permit;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law (including your rights under EU Directive 2009/24/EC on interoperability);
  • remove or alter proprietary notices;
  • circumvent the in app purchase; or
  • use Enalla to break the law.

9. Ownership

Enalla, including all intellectual property in the software, its design, its mark and its name, is and remains owned by Stavros Thalassinos. You own the licence, not the software. Mac, macOS and Mac App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.

10. Updates

Updates are delivered through the Mac App Store. All 1.x updates are included in the free app and in Enalla Full. We may add, change or remove features at our discretion; a feature that costs us money to run per use, if one is ever added, may be priced separately and will be described before you can buy it. Some behaviour depends on your macOS version and your system settings (for example notification permission and Focus modes), which are outside our control.

11. Not medical advice

Enalla is a timer with reminders. Its default intervals are based on published studies, which we cite on the website, but they are general starting points and not advice for you. Enalla is not a medical device, makes no health claims, and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If you have a condition that affects how long you should sit, stand, or look at a screen, follow your clinician's advice and adjust or turn off the nudges accordingly.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and without limiting your mandatory consumer rights (section 6), Enalla is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. A reminder can be missed, delayed by your system settings, or silenced by a Focus mode; do not rely on Enalla for anything where a missed reminder would cause harm.

13. Limitation of liability

Under Article 332 of the Greek Civil Code, an agreement made in advance that excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct (δόλος) or gross negligence (βαριά αμέλεια) is void. So is one that excludes liability even for slight negligence in terms that were not individually negotiated, such as these, or for harm to life, health, freedom or honour. We therefore do not exclude or limit our liability in any of those cases, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, including your rights under Greek Law 2251/1994.

In practice we are liable to you under the general rules of Greek law. Whether a reminder appears on time also depends on your macOS settings, Focus modes and other software, which we do not control (section 12). If a court finds any part of these Terms unfair under Article 2 of Law 2251/1994, that part does not apply to you and the rest is unaffected.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and, where applicable, mandatory EU law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep any protection the mandatory law of your country gives you, and you can bring proceedings in the courts where you live wherever the law gives you that right. Otherwise, disputes go to the courts that have jurisdiction under the applicable rules.
